Teenage Pregnancy, Every Township's Nightmare!!  

Teenage Pregnancy is something that has a negative impact in the youth of today. Is there any way we could solve this? I mean you would find a grade 8 learner pregnant, that is something that never happened in the days of our parents. Imagine having to go to school with a big tummy going to be a mommy soon that time you can't even solve for x and y simultaneously.

I think this idea of providing high schools and middle schools with condoms is a good idea. Many parents see this as if the school is promoting learners to have sex at an early age, no it's not like that, in today's world teenagers are already sexual active, well not all of them but most of them. That's is why the rate of teenage pregnancy rises every year in South Africa. 

Being sexually active as a teenager you don't face the risks of falling pregnant only, there are so many  diseases that you can get such as HIV/AIDS STIs. It is very important to these teenagers to use protection and parents must make sure that their children use different kinds of contraceptives especially girls.
